Our family including girls ages 14 and 7 will be at WDW on the Disney Dining Plan. Which Table Service and Quick Service restaurants do you recommend? Which restaurants have the best Character Dining experiences?

Hi Kevin! Walt Disney World has so many fantastic restaurants that it can be hard to narrow down your choices! My family often eats three sit-down meals a day at Disney because we just can't miss dining at some of our favorites.

My kids request a trip to the Sci-Fi Dine-In on every trip because its so much fun to sit in cars watching campy movies while the servers whiz by on roller skates. For character meals, we enjoy the fun atmosphere at Chef Mickey's, the tasty food at Crystal Palace, and the magic of dining in the Castle with the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table. For a special occasion meal, the California Grill in the Contemporary also has wonderful flatbread pizzas and sushi and is a great place to view the Wishes fireworks. Our trips to Epcot always include a stop at Via Napoli, where the half-meter pizzas satisfy the whole family and  the Rose & Crown, where we love the fish and chips and the super-friendly British cast members. Our other Epcot favorite is Le Cellier. The steaks are good, but the cheese soup and pretzel bread are what keep bringing me back there.  'Ohana in the Polynesian has a fun atmosphere for families and tasty grilled meats and side dishes -- the sheer volume of food the server brings to the table always makes me giggle! For more adventurous eaters, the buffet at Boma offers tasty exotic African flavors, and for a fun dinner show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is not to be missed!

For Quick Service choices, the Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney is always a winner, and our mornings often include a stop at the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom. Other Magic Kingdom faves include the Columbia Harbour House for seafood and Pecos Bills, where you can spice up your meals at the Fixin' Bar. In the Animal Kingdom, the Yak & Yeti offers tasty Asian food.
