    Hi! My family will be heading to Disney World at the beginning of March. My little man is ready for his first haircut and I was wondering if there is any news on when Harmony Barbershop will reopen?

    Hi Denise, and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your son is ready for his first haircut! 3 chEARS to that! The first haircut is one of those milestones in your child's life that's truly memorable. In fact, I waited until my daughter was 3 years old as well to take her for her first haircut, which was at Harmony Barber Shop (yes, they do cut girl's hair as well!) It was such a fun experience, she had a ball the entire time and loved getting pixie-dusted at the end, and getting her keepsake Mickey Ears that say "My 1st Haircut". 

    Unfortunately at this time Denise, Harmony Barber Shop is still temporarily unavailable. I would definitely keep checking every day (even during your vacation!) on your My Disney Experience app for updates on potential openings. You never know when those doors will open again!

    Denise, I am so sorry I do not have a clear answer for you today, I hope that Harmony Barber Shop opens up again soon.
