Me and my family are heading to Disney in March. There are 3 adults and 1 three year old. I was debating between the Dining Plan or paying as we eat. I'm not sure if we are going to save any money with the plan. Can you Moms help me out.

    Hi Jeffrey!

If you are planning on eating one sit-down per day, the dining plan is often a good value. BUT, its often subjective based on which restaurants you'd like to eat at and which entrees you'd choose.

My best advice on trying to figure out if it works for your budget (and saves you money) is to plan which restaurants you'd like to eat at. I even recommend double checking to make sure that reservations are available during your stay.

After you've done that, I'd visit a site like Allears or WDWinfo and browse through the menu's and prices. Total up the price for your "meals".

Then compare this to the price difference in booking a package with or without dining (I always use the online reservation system for this).

This should give you a good idea of which option is a better deal for your trip!

    Hope this helps!
