    Hi there, my family and I are heading to Disney June 20th. I'm nervous because I have severe arthritis in my back and can't stand for very long and can't walk very far. Very embarrassing for a middle age woman with 4 kids. Are scooters very expensive?

    Hi Kathleen,

    You and your children will have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Since Disney caters to guests of all abilities, you will be able to enjoy the parks at your own pace.  I have rented vehicles for family members on several occasions and the vehicle makes getting around the parks so much easier for everyone involved. 

    Disney does provide ECV Rentals at all of its theme parks.  Current pricing is $50 per day with a $20 refundable deposit and is subject to change.  Please note that the number of vehicles are limited so you'll want to reserve yours as early in the day as possible. 

    You might also want to look into renting from a third party vendor who will deliver the ECV directly to your resort so that you may have the use of the vehicle during your entire stay.  At the bottom of the ECV Rental link there is a list of companies that provide this service and you may contact them directly for pricing.
