Our family of 4 are having our first trip to WDW this August. What is quickest way from AOA to Caribbean Resort for a morning fishing trip? Will bus go to OPR directly, or will we have to walk?

    Hello Bonnie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, transportation questions are some of my favorites and I know it can be a little overwhelming trying to figure it out and you have come to the right place. I have two recommendations:

    1. Board a Walt Disney World bus either to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once you have arrived to the theme park locate the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort bus stop and board that bus to continue to the resort. When you have arrived on property at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort be sure to disembark at Old Port Royale for your final destination. Allow yourself about 40minutes of travel time from beginning to end.

    2. If you are running short on time, from the front of Disney's Art of Animation, take a quick taxi ride to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. With fare plus tip, the fee is typically around $20. Once your arrive to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort be sure to ask the driver to drop you at your final destination of Old Port Royale.

I hope your fishing expedition proves to be successful and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask. Enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World and may it be magical and memorable.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
