My family will be at grand Floridian--What is the best outer building for the resort? I have two young girls ( ages 1 & 2) we would like to be close to the main building and somewhere quiet for afternoon naps. This will be our first vist.

    Welcome Savannah!

While I have never experienced a section of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa that I wouldn't consider quiet enough for an afternoon nap, I think that Sago Cay might be a great building request for you.

It is conveniently located just a short stroll away from the iconic main building for quick access to the monorail, restaurants, and shops. Then it only takes a few minutes to reach the Motor Launch dock if your plans involve traveling over Disney's Seven Seas Lagoon to Magic Kingdom Park.

Finally, I think you might really enjoy the view! On my last visit to the Resort hotel, I had an obstructed but beautiful view of Cinderella Castle. It provides a great opportunity to slow down and relax on your private balcony while the youngest princesses get their afternoon beauty-rest.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
