Hi! My family would like to go to WDW next year and we are open for dates. We are from California so I was wondering if you could give suggestions on the best time of year to go for weather. We'd like to miss the humidity, hurricanes, and rainy season.

    Hi Jennifer,

I love California and the great weather! Disney has many times of the year that has great weather and I will share my two favorites.

October is my favorite time of the year. The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and no humidity, this is why I love October. While the risk of a hurricane is slight, it is worth it to me to go at this time of the year.

Another great time of the year is April. Hurricanes are not in season and the humidity is not at its peak. You will need to look at Easter to avoid elevated crowd levels.

The last option is between Thanksgiving and Christmas. While there is no humidity or hurricanes, the temperatures can vary and be cooler than you might want.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
