Hello, my family and I will go in October from Guadalajara Mexico, how can I buy tickets for the oggie boogie bash?

    Hi Jose Luis!
Welcome back to planDisney! I’m thrilled to help you prepare for one of the most ghoulishly delightful events of the year: the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure. This After Hours event is a real scream, and I’ve been haunting the Disney Parks Blog for updates just like you!

And now, some spook-tacular news has finally materialized! Tickets for this year’s bash will go on sale to the general public on the Disneyland website on June 26, 2025, no earlier than 9 a.m. Pacific Time. If you hold an Inspire Magic Key, you can snag tickets even earlier on June 24, and all other Magic Key Holders get their early-access opportunity on June 25. These tickets vanish faster than a hitchhiking ghost, so I recommend setting an alarm and having your MyDisney account ready and logged in before the virtual queue opens. Every little bit of preparation can help you avoid any eerie errors.

Now, let’s talk about what’s bubbling in the cauldron for this year’s event! We’ve learned that two new villains will be joining the treat trails this Halloween season. While Disney hasn’t revealed which baddies will take center stage, half the fun is guessing who might creep out of the shadows! And returning this year is one of my favorite enchanted experiences: Villains Grove. The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail gets transformed into a hauntingly elegant forest filled with light, mist, sound, and spellbinding projections. It’s the kind of Halloween magic that only Disney can conjure, at once immersive, mysterious, and mesmerizing.

If you’re arriving at the park before the party kicks off, here’s a handy Q-Tip: while all party guests need to check in to receive an event wristband, the lines at the main entrance can get a bit... monstrous. If you’re already inside Disney California Adventure, look for the in-park wristband distribution locations. They tend to have much shorter lines, which means more time for trick-or-treat trails, villain encounters, and maybe even a photo in front of the Headless Horseman statue on Buena Vista Street!

I hope this helps you prepare for a frightfully fun night, Jose Luis! If more questions come creeping in, you know where to find us: planDisney is always here to lend a ghostly hand.

Wishing you a hauntingly happy Halloween season!
