    Hi my family and I will go on our first cruise December 21 2013 on disney wonder western caribbean. my daughters are 11 & 10 and my son is 7 we are super excited. But am also very nervous. What do I pack? What activities can we do off the ship? Please

    Ahoy Mindy!
    Congratulations on your first magical voyage onboard Disney Cruise Line! Your children are wonderful ages to enjoy all that Disney Cruise Line has to offer so there is no need to be nervous!  As far as packing, you will need comfy casual clothes for the daytime including several bathing suits for each child and  dressier outfits for the evenings.  On your six-night sailing, you will have one formal night and one semi-formal night along with one pirate-themed night and the others will be cruise casual.  You can decide how dressy you want your crew to be, but with photographers available each evening you will have lots of opportunities for family photos.  Many Guests like to dress in pirate attire for the Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean festivities.  You can purchase costumes onboard or check the Halloween shops over the next month for some pirate gear.  For the casual evenings, nice shorts, slacks, golf shirts are fine for the boys while you and your girls can wear sundresses, capris, skirts or nice shorts with coordinating tops.  It might get cool in the evenings both on deck and inside the ship so light jackets or sweaters are always good to throw in!
    As far as Port Adventures go, there are lots of fantastic options available so my advice is to find out what interests your family and go from there.  I have an 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son so they usually like the splastacular excursions like the Cozumel Beach Break, Dolphin Discovery Cozumel, XCaret Eco Archaeological Park (Gr Cayman), Boatswain's Adventures Marine Park (Gr Cayman), and Stingray City Snorkel (Gr Cayman).  There are all types of adventures so have fun exploring the Disney Cruise Line website to find the best fit for your family!
