We are a family of 4 (girls are 2, & 6) coming Nov 9-15. We have 4 nights off prop.(prepurchased) and plan 2 nights on property. Our 6 yr old Princess really wants a CB. Should we purchase the Dining Plan? How does the Dining Plan work for a 2 yr

    Hi Barry,

Your six-year old Princess should still be able to get the character breakfast without purchasing the Disney Dining Plan.

The Disney Dining Plan is available for guest staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and are three years or older. Your two year old would not be charged and she would share a meal. You would only be able to buy the Dining Plan for the two days you are staying on property.

However, because you are staying on property you can book 180 days in advance your Character Dining Breakfast based on the check in date of your stay on property. So if your on property stay starts, November 9, count 180 back and then you can call 407-WDW-DINE to make the reservation for that day. Allearsnet.com has an Advance Dining Calculator to figure out the first day you can call for reservations as well as menus.

I recommend a princess breakfast at Akershus or Winnie the Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace.

    Have a great trip!
