My family of four (4 & 7 yr old/ boys) are sailing on a 6 night Magic on March 9, 2013. Can you tell me if there are any formal nights that we would /need to prepare attire for? If so, please let me know what's appropriate to wear, jeans, polo shirts

    Ahoy Melissa!
I know your crew is so ready for Saturday to arrive so you can board the majestic Disney Magic for a magical six night vacation with Captain Mickey!  I'm glad you stopped by with your question because I'm sure you are ready to get the packing underway.  Here is what you can plan on for your dining attire each evening-Day One-Cruise Casual, Day Two-Formal, Day Three-Cruise Casual, Day Four-Pirate or Cruise Casual, Day Five-Semi-Formal, and Day Six-Cruise Casual.  Two nights of you sailing will be more formal in which you will see a variety of attire.  I also have a seven year old son and have dressed him in khaki pants with a button down shirt for these evenings. My husband wears his suit or a sports coat with dress pants while I usually like to wear a cocktail dress.  Since you are so close to your departure day, I would simply plan on your nicest outfits for these two nights onboard.
I hope this helps, Melissa!  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
