My family of four is visiting Disney World during Thanksgiving on November 26th . We'd like to have a nice sit down Thanksgiving Dinner. Any place you recommend to get a meal fit for Thanksgiving? (our group age range is 39-50)

    Hi Heather,

There is no better place to enjoy your family's Thanksgiving dinner than Disney World, plus there is no cooking or cleaning for you. We have spent numerous Thanksgivings at the Happiest place on Earth and you will be happy to know that you can easily get your fill of turkey and stuffing while on property.

Most Disney World restaraunts will offer a Thanksgiving special, even if it is not part of their regular meal. A few of the locations that we have enjoyed Thanksgiving at include Cape May Cafe, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Faire, Grand Floridian Cafe and Prime Time Cafe. Our favorite location though is Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom.

The restaraunt is themed after a Colonial New England restaraunt and has the amazing feeling of what one of our country's first Thanksgivings might have felt like. The nightly menu here features family style dining of turkey, beef, stuffing, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans and for dessert cobbler and ice cream. Delicious for sure!

Liberty Tree Tavern is very popular for Thanksgiving dinner, as are most Disney restaraunt, so be sure to call 407-939-3463 at your ninety day mark to make your reservations.

    Enjoy!
