    I have a family of four, two small children. Is it financially worth it to purchase a dining plan or will that lock us into certain restaurants not giving us enough flexibility to pick and choose? My children do not eat a lot and often share a plate.

    Hi Deanna,

    The Disney Dining Plan is very flexible. As long a a restaurant (there are plenty) is on the plan, you can eat at that restaurant. Depending on the plan you purchase, you will be given the option of type of restaurant as well as snacks and courses to your table service.

    As for value, I think with children under 9 you really can not beat the price. Where you can save money is in the specific plans themselves. For most families, the basic dining plan works. For guests who want to enjoy more table service meals, signature dining or want to quickly grab a meal and go, other meal plans will work for them.
