    My family of four all hold premium passports to california's disneyland resort. Does it make sense and is it possible to upgrade our passes to include all disney parks and just book our hotel for the week?

    Hi Chris,

    It is possible to upgrade a Disneyland annual pass to a Premier Passport which includes access to all of Disney's US theme parks in Florida and California. As to whether it makes sense, that depends on how many days you'll be spending on each coast to see if the math works out for you.

    I did something similar to this earlier this year. I have a WDW annual pass, but visited DL for three days this summer. The math worked out such that it didn't quite make sense for me to upgrade to the Premier Pass based solely on ticket price, but when I factored in things like merchandise, restaurant and room discounts, then it did make sense.

    As for hotels, there are often discounts for annual pass holders at WDW, including Premier pass holders. Please let us know if you'd like additional information about this.
