We're a family of four : father mother son 19 daughter 5.Our cruise april 28 may 2nd 13 My daughter s 5th birthday will be on may 1st. I want to know how can I get a beautifull surprise for her on board, of course with princesses and a lot of magic.

Welcome aboard, Lizbeth! Leaving April 28th, you must be sailing on the Disney Dream for a magical four night cruise. Your whole family, but especially your five year old daughter, will have an amazing cruise!

If you haven't already, be sure to call Disney Cruise Line and add a note to your reservation mentioning that you will be celebrating your daughter's birthday onboard. This information will be given to the Cast Members before you board, so she might just be surprised with a special birthday song at dinner that night!

Stop by Guest Services and pick up a birthday button and let your daughter wear it all day on her birthday. Cast Members who spot that will certainly go out of their way to make her feel very special. You might also look at the celebration packages available to pre-purchase. I love the Happy Birthday decorations you can order. Can you imagine your daughter walking into the stateroom and seeing it beautifully decorated just for her? Specialty cakes are available to order as well.

Keep an eye on the Personal Navigator each day which lists each day's events and activities. Your little girl will love to take part in the Princess Gathering where five or six Disney princesses greet their fans in the atrium and pose for photos. Perhaps you could purchase a special new princess dress for your daughter in the gift shops and surprise her with that before you take her off to the gathering! Be sure to arrive early (or send your son to hold a spot in line for his little sis), about 30-45 minutes prior to the start time, as lines get very long for this event!

Have fun as you continue to plan, Lizbeth, and please let me know how else I can help you!
