My family of foodies has a trip planned for this fall. We'd like to experience some tastes from around the world during Epcot's food and wine fest. We want to be sure to hit the best booths. What favorites can you recommend? Thanks.

    Um...all of them?!?!

The Food & Wine Festival is one of our favorite Disney events and we love to visit each year, so I've certainly done my share of sampling around the World. I've seen that www.disneyfoodblog.com has a complete map and menus of the booths for this year, so I'd definitely suggest checking that out to make your family game plan.

A few of my family's favorites:

    • Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup in Canada
    • Escargots Persillade en Brioche in France
    • Greek Salad with Pita Bread in Greece (sadly, Spanakopita seems to be missing this year)
    • Lobster and Scallop Fisherman’s Pie in Ireland
    • Shrimp Tacos in Mexico
    • Harissa Chicken Roll, Baklava, and Tangerine Mimosa Royale in Morocco
    • Kielbasa and Potato Pierogies with Caramelized Onions and Sour Cream in Poland
New countries participating this year are Portugal, Scandinavia, and the Caribbean Islands, as well as the state of Hawaii, and I look forward to sampling something from all four of those booths as well!
Finally, did you know that if you're on the Disney Dining Plan, you are able to use your snack credits to purchase sample-sized snacks from the festival? This is a delicious way to use up your leftover credits from the week!

    Happy Feasting!
