    Hello, its my family and I first time to WDW and we are going this aug. what are some of the fun attractions & special events happening that month?

    Hi Trey, Thanks for the follow up question. August is a great month to go to the Walt Disney World Resorts. The beginning of the month you will find a special firework show at Magic Kingdom based on the theme of the year. You will also find more Extra Magic Hours throughout all the parks as well. This will allow guests staying on property to enter the parks early or stay late into the evening. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will have more opportunities to see Fantasmic! This show combines characters, laser and water as only Disney can do. Book a Dinner and a Show package to reserve your seat for the show. Animal Kingdom will have you going wild. Visit Kilimanjaro Safari in the morning to see the animals at their most active. EPCOT is the perfect place to fly over California in Soarin', drive a car in Test Track and tour the world at the World Showcase. The end of the month will see lower crowds. This is a great time to ride your favorites more than once like Toy Storymania. It also is a great time to try new dining experiences.
