Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Leslie!
How exciting that you will soon be setting sail on your very first Disney Cruise Line vacation! I am sure you and your family are counting down the days until your magical adventure begins.
One of the many amazing benefits of stepping aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is the industry changing Rotational Dining. Not only do you get to experience a new dining venue each night, but your service team travels with you for each meal. This means that each night your service team knows you and your family, your dietary needs and all your favorites! We travel with my Mother-In-Law who has ALS and has very specific dietary requirements to reduce the progression of her disease. Each night our service team would meet with her to discuss what was offered, what could work or alternate options.
Perishable foods are on the list of prohibited items you can bring on the ship. Additionally, cast members are unable to prepare any food items brought aboard by a guest. Thankfully with all the great accommodations Disney Cruise Line makes for their guests, this should lighten your packing and you can relax knowing your son will be well catered to.
Be sure to notify Disney Cruise line or your travel agent of your son's
special dietary needs prior to arrival. Talk to your head server as well to ensure they are aware. You can also check out the accommodations that can be made as needed for your son by reviewing
Disney Cruise Line's Information for ASD.
Bon voyage Leslie! Have an amazing adventure! Angie
