Ahoy, Kristen!
You will soon "sea" what makes Disney Cruise Line so WONDERful, DREAMy, MAGICal and FANTAStic! And I love that you've combined your first cruise vacation with a stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort. You'll enjoy the smooth land to sea transition that
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation offers from the Walt Disney World Resort. When you complete your Online Check-in, you will not request a port arrival time. Pick-up times can vary depending on where Guests choose to stay, so you'll find out the day prior to your departure via a letter in your resort room or upon resort check-in. Typically, pick-up is late morning to early afternoon, but your luggage needs to be ready at 8:00 a.m. You do not need to be in your resort room to have your luggage collected, but you will want to make sure all your bags are tagged with the luggage tags that will be in your cruise booklet (this booklet will arrive around a month prior to your cruise). Also, you will want to make sure you don't pack anything you may need the first afternoon as your luggage may take a few hours to arrive outside your stateroom door. This includes your cruise documents, medications, passports and/or birth certificates and possibly bathing suits, flip-flops and sunscreen if you want to take the plunge for a ride on the
AquaDuck!
Kristen, you will be able to sit back and relax when you head to Port Canaveral for your sailing on the
Disney Fantasy! It will be a comfortable and entertaining ride over for your crew.
Thank you for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel for all your cruise planning questions. Let us know if we can assist you again!
Have a FANTAStic day!
