Hi Moms. My family and I are going on the Fantasy in March 2014. I have a 12 year old son. Do you see a lot of children his age dressing up for pirate night? Or is that for little kids?

Welcome aboard, Nancy! Next month will be an exciting one for your family as you set sail on the Disney Fantasy for seven magical nights! Pirate Night is a very popular night for guests onboard all of Disney's ships, but especially on the Disney Fantasy where the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique becomes Pirates League for the night, transforming young cruisers into swashbuckling pirates!

We've sailed on all four of Disney's ships and each time we sail, Pirate Night brings out the fun in everyone! You'll see everyone from little kids to tweens to adults all dressed up for the fun! Your son will certainly not look out of place if he chooses to dress up for Pirate Night. In fact, the Edge, which is the tween club your son will want to hang out in, usually offers Pirate Prep time before the big Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party, where the kids can add to their pirate look with face paint and accessories. I say bring his pirate gear and let him decide, but he will have a lot of fun getting in on the swashbuckling fun!

All guests will receive a pirate bandana that night at dinner, but many go way above and beyond that with full costumes, accessories and more!

Stop back with any other questions you have before you set sail next month, Nancy! Happy planning!
