Hello, my family and I are so excited to visit Disneyland, we are a pretty big family… we carry a lot and have a cargo carrier on the back of our suv it measures 60"L x 20"W x 4"H, I was wondering if it’s allowed in parking structure

Greetings to you Valerie, thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney!

I’m so excited for you and your family to be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon! As a mama of a large family myself, I can understand the extra need for cargo! We roll deep and don’t pack very light so I’m happy to share more about parking at the Disneyland Resort.

Guests have a few options when parking at the Disneyland Resort. The Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures can accommodate vehicles up to a 13’ 10” height. All oversized and recreational vehicles can be parked at the Toy Story Parking Lot. Since I’m not clear on the size of the vehicle without the carrier, I recommend parking at the Toy Story Parking Lot just to be safe. With no height or length restriction there, your family will be riding into the magic soon.

Visiting Disneyland Resort with a large family is loads of fun but I also know planning can be a little overwhelming! Parking for Disneyland Resort can be purchased in advance on the website so that’s one less thing to worry about! My biggest tip is to make sure everyone is linked in the Disneyland app and purchase Disney Genie+/Lightning Lane Multi Pass if you can. One of my fondest memories I have is filling up an entire boat on Pirates of the Caribbean with my family and extended family when celebrating birthdays. If the majority of you are thrill seekers, you can also fit a large family on the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! elevator and that attraction has one of the best pictures to capture the experience of everyone! I’m thankful my kiddos have always enjoyed a good thrill!

I hope this information has helped you Valerie as you prepare to bring your family to the Happiest Place on Earth! My wish is that you and your family make many core memories to cherish for years to come. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me another message!

    Adventure is out there!
