Hello, Mario!
Character dining is one of my favorite ways to make a Walt Disney World vacation even more magical for my family. My daughter and I are big fans of the Disney Princesses, and we are excited to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare also has special royal guests in attendance, as well. At this time, there are no super hero character dining opportunities at Walt Disney World.
You mentioned that you are looking for a somewhat affordable place to dine with the Disney Princesses, and that's where things get kind of interesting. All three of the character dining locations that I mentioned above are around the same price, but they are also quite a bit more than I would typically pay for a nice family meal. I wouldn't suggest that any of these locations are affordable from a budget standpoint alone. That said, character dining is really beneficial for other reasons:
- The opportunity to meet 'n' greet favorite Disney Characters in a more intimate setting
- Not having to wait in separate lines to meet Disney Characters -- allowing more time to explore the theme parks
- Delicious meals, many of which are buffets
- And last but not least -- an early morning dining reservation may get you into the theme parks before the park is open, which will allow you and your family to take some pretty unique pictures in a somewhat empty setting!
I would like to add that your family may also enjoy dining in Beast's enchanted castle at Be Our Guest Restaurant. This is not a character dining opportunity, but you will be immersed in an elaborate fairytale setting at a much more affordable price. If you have any additional questions about dining at Walt Disney World, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel, Mario. Happy planning!
