My family has a DW trip booked for March '12 and have the dining plan. How necessary is it to get ADRs right at 180 days? We will be on a cruise when reservations open for our trip. Will I be able to get ADRs a week later at Cape May and Spirit of Aloha?

The 180 day mark is crucial when booking super popular meals (like breakfast in Cinderella Castle) or on major holidays.

March can be busy because of spring break, but it isn't the busiest. And the two meals you mentioned are not the hardest reservations to come by. Because of that, I think you will be okay if you call in a week later.

That said, of course there are no guarantees. If these meals are really 'must-dos' for your family, you might want to ask a helpful friend or family member to make that call for you while you are gone.

    Good luck!
