Family and I are going to DW 1st time Jan 23-Feb1. Doing extensive research and I am seeing that the Florida weather is cool this time of year. have the water park option for our tickets but I am wondering if it will be to cool to swim? Gr8 Info btw!

    Marcella,

With average daily highs in the low 70s during that time of year, you really are treading into unsure waters (sorry, could not pass on the swimming play-on-words there!).

I have been there at that time of year where temperatures was a bit warmer than average, and it was wonderful swimming weather for Northerners like us. Other times it has been below average, and swimming just did not seem ideal. Most of the water in these parks is heated during the colder months, so if the temperatures seem 'iffy', you might still find that it is warm enough out, combined with heated water, to go.

The other great news about the Water Park Fun and More option is that it does not just offer Water Parks as choices. You could also play golf, miniature golf, or visit DisneyQuest.

BOTTOM LINE: You just can't know what Mother Nature has in store from you until you are there, on vacation. I would recommend you plan for the weather to be good enough to swim, but prepare yourself for the possibility that you do something else if it is not. I would say, however, that you are probably going to find that the weather, combined with the heated water, will make it so that it is just good enough to swim!

    Have a magical vacation!
