My family and I will be going to DW in June and we have the Disney Dining Plan. I was wondering will my card get charge to make dining reservations? Thank you.

    Hi Vanessa!

That is a great question. We love using the Disney Dining Plan to help us budget for our meals while visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth.  It is so convenient!

When you make you Advance Dining Reservation, you will be asked to submit credit card information to secure your table.  You card will not be charged at the time.  Once you arrive at your restaurant, a Cast Member at the podium will as you to confirm the details of your party, including whether you will be using the Disney Dining Plan or paying in another way.  Once you have enjoyed your wonderful meal, you will simply scan your MagicBand, sign the receipt, and be on your merry way.

There are just two more things to remember when using the Disney Dining Plan on your next vacation.  The first is that gratuity is not included in your meal entitlement, so you will want to handle that on your receipt. Also, if you are unable to make your reservation, you will want to call Disney Dining at 407-9391947, head on over to your My Disney Experience Mobile App, or visit the Concierge Desk at your Resort Hotel to change or cancel at least 24-hours in advance.  Otherwise, your could be charged a fee for missing the reservation.

Please come back and visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
