My family and I are going to DW in April 2016 (me, husband, 7 & 1 yr old). I have booked 3 Character Dining experiences and am now starting to rethink my quick service dp. Should I upgrade to the Deluxe to help offset the costs of the Character Dinne

    Hi, Jessica!
Thanks so much for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family considers character meals an excellent way to meet many of our favorite Disney personalities.

When you look at the price difference between the different Disney Dining Plans, I've found it's worth the upgrade from the Quick Service Dining Plan (pdf link) to the Disney Dining Plan (pdf) when I have a lot of table service reservations. Some of those dinners can be pricey without the plan! For my family of four, the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan (pdf) is way too much food for us, and we appreciate yummy Walt Disney World Resort food!

I hope you have so many unforgettable moments during your special meals at Disney World. Let me know if I can help you with any additional questions that pop up as you prepare for your trip!
