My family is due to renew our annual passes. We are out of state and wanted to check to see if there is a payment plan yet for out of state? Also, is there any savings to renew vs repurchase at a later time we plan to go?

    Hey there, Rebecca!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with a phenomenal question about Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes. It looks like you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth very soon and hoping to renew your Annual Passes - how exciting! As a fellow out-of-state Annual Passholder, I'm happy to help you understand your renewal options.

Rebecca, Florida residents have access to some fabulous deals as well as the most options when it comes to Annual Pass types. Unfortunately, at this time, the rest of us "non-locals" can't take advantage of the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program that allows them to split their Annual Pass payments into monthly installments. Therefore the entire renewal price will be due at the time the pass is renewed. Good news, though, Rebecca! When an existing Annual Passholder renews their pass within their renewal window (60 days before expiration to 29 days after expiration), they receive a discount of ~15% off the current new purchase price (subject to change)!

When you're ready to renew your family's Annual Passes, give the friendly Cast Members at the Annual Passholders phone line a call. They'll assist you with renewing the pixie dust in your Annual Pass for another magical year! Alternatively, you could choose to renew your passes in person once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort by visiting any theme park ticket booth or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Your pass will expire one year after its original expiration date unless you decide to renew year after year.

Rebecca, I hope this information helps your family renew their Annual Passes for another fun-filled year! If you have any additional questions about being an Annual Passholder or planning your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, you're always welcome to revisit us here at planDisney. We're here to help you maximize the fun factor during your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,
