We are a family of 4 me, DH, DS 16 and DSS 14. We are going on our first Disney cruise on the Disney Dream in August 2014, we have a balcony stateroom number 8558 Deck 8. Could you give me any insight about this location? Thank you

    Ahoy Renee!
I'm excited to hear your crew will be embarking on your first Disney Cruise next summer!  You will be surprised at how quickly the months will fly by as you look forward to a magical Bahamian adventure!
You have chosen a great location for your stateroom on the Disney Dream!  Your stateroom is located midship close by the stairs and elevator.  Deck 11 has the pool deck, Cabanas, Flo's Cafe (quick service eatery), and the 24-hour beverage station so you will enjoy not being too far away from all these amenities.  Your teens will be spending lots of time in Vibe, the teen club, so they will just be a few decks away from this amazing space which is located on Deck Five.  This stateroom is on the starboard side of the ship which means a spectacular view of Castaway Cay when the docks there for your day in paradise!
Once you begin navigating your way around this stunning vessel, you will be very pleased with your selection!
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel, Renee!  If I can assist you further, please write back!
    Have a magical day!
