Some of our family are driving to stay with us at Animal Kingdom Lodge in Kidani Village. How do we make it possible for them to drive and park at Kidani Village? Is there a fee?

    Hi Richard!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! My family are Disney Vacation Club Members and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is our Home Resort. We have stayed here many times and even after more than a decade, it is still one of our favorite resorts! You’ll love the spacious rooms, and where else can you wake up to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the zebra and giraffe enjoy their breakfast?

If your friends are staying with you meaning they are on the room reservation as Guests of the resort, they will simply need to give the reservation number to the security guard at the entrance and let the guard know that they are checking in. They will then need visit the front desk on arrival, where they will receive a parking pass for their vehicle. If the room is a cash booking, there is a standard overnight parking fee per vehicle. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member and your visit is booked with Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points, all Guests on the reservation will receive complimentary overnight parking!

If your family is just visiting for the day to stay with you in your villa you should stop by the front desk that day to inquire about a parking pass. If it is just a short daytime visit, typically the front desk will issue them a complimentary parking pass for that day only. If they’ll be joining you for a dining reservation, all Guests are automatically given complimentary parking with dining reservations. Please note that while your family may visit with you in your room, dine with you, and enjoy common areas of the resort such as the lobby, patios, and animal viewing areas, only registered Guests may utilize the pool area.

I hope this helps to answer your question, Richard!

    Happy Planning!
