Hi! Our family will be driving to Port Canaveral from Miami on December 31st to board Disney Fantasy. Is there a specific time we should arrive, or range of time? Thanks

Welcome aboard, Vanessa! Setting sail with Disney Cruise Line over New Year's Eve will be such an amazing way to kick off 2017! The Disney Fantasy will have even more fun in store for that exciting night when you can count down the new year with your new friends up on deck!

If you haven't already, you'll want to begin your online check-in. During this process, you will be prompted to select from the remaining available Port Arrival Times. They'll range from around 11:00 a.m. to early afternoon when All Aboard is set for your particular sailing. See what times are still available to select, and choose the earliest one you can. Then, you can plan your driving time to arrive based on when Disney will be expecting your family to arrive at port. As you pull up, you can leave your bags with the porters before you park your car. They'll send those ahead to your stateroom for you, and you can simply keep a carry-on bag with anything you'll need before late afternoon.

If you arrive a bit earlier or a bit later (as long as you're not missing All Aboard time of course!) than your designated Port Arrival Time, it's okay. You'll still be able to check in your luggage and make your way through the port terminal check in. If you're much earlier, you may need to wait a bit until your boarding number is called. But it's a really nice terminal with some screens playing classic Disney cartoons, and even Mickey or Minnie has been known to pop out for photos with guests! Before you know it, you'll be boarding the ship and the Cast Members will announce your family name and applaud your arrival as you take your first steps into the Fantasy's beautiful atrium to begin your magical voyage!

    Have a wonderful trip, Vanessa!
