Our family of 8 will be driving to Disney and staying at the All-Star Music the end of May. Since All-Star Music only offers bus transportation, is it possible for me to drive to other resorts to use ferry or monorail, or can I drive to the TTC?

    Lattrice,

    Thanks for writing us!

When you check in to the All-Star Music resort you will be given a parking pass for your car that is valid for the length of your stay (dates will be printed on the pass).  That pass allows you to park for free at the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) and any of the theme parks during your stay.  So, YES, you can drive to the TTC (and park for free!).

You can also park at other resorts, if you have a reason to visit (dining, checking out the decor, meeting a friend, etc.), but you aren't typically supposed to park at another resort simply to use the transportation.  This applies to ALL guests, even ones not staying at a Disney resort.

One helpful tip for drivers at WDW:  It's almost always faster to take Disney Transportation from your resort to the Magic Kingdom.  It's faster because it avoids the need to park at the TTC (which is also the parking lot for the Magic Kingdom), take a tram, and then the monorail or boat.  Of course if you want the "magical" experience of arriving at the Magic Kingdom by monorail (or boat), then by all means drive to the TTC and catch the monorail (or boat) from there.

    Hope that helps!
