Hi Constance!
Thanks for your visiting us here at planDisney!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events to take place at the Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, in order to assure social distancing and adherence to CDC guidelines, MNSSHP was canceled for this year. While it makes me sad, I understand the need for it, and we hope, like you, that the Headless Horseman gets to ride again in 2021!
One of the best parts of MNSSHP is the trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom park. Due to ensuring guest and Cast Member health and safety, trick-or-treating will not be offered at the parks or resorts. We understand that this is disappointing, however, there are definitely other means to have an amazing time while visiting
Walt Disney World during the Halloween season. From now until October 31st, guests of all ages can wear their costumes within
Disney's Magic Kingdom! You and your family can experience the attractions dressed in your favorite Halloween gear! Keep in mind face masks are required at all times. There are also lots of
sweets and treats offered within the parks this season! Fall foods that have made their way into the parks range from delicious cinnamon donuts in Magic Kingdom park, to the Scar cupcake at Disney's Animal Kingdom park can satisfy any sweet tooth!
Constance, you can celebrate
Halloween at Magic Kingdom enjoying the special Halloween cavalcade of characters! Your son will have a fun time watching all his favorite Disney pals decked out in their Halloween best as they parade throughout the park! You may spot some rare sightings of Disney Villains and of course, none other than the King of Halloween, Jack Skellington! Don't forget to look out for the Cadaver Dans singing some spooky tunes on Main Street, U.S.A.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
Malanie
