My family and I will be doing the Wild Africa Trek Jan 19 has anyone heard information about what happens on this tour besides what you read about?

    Robert,

I will be on the first ever Wild Africa Tour on Sunday, January 16. I'm so excited!

Since this is brand new experience, we're all still learning about it. However, I did get a follow up call from a cast member yesterday telling me some things I needed to do to be prepared for this adventure. She reminded me that I needed sturdy closed-toe shoes because there would be hiking. She also asked me if I had a fear of heights because we would be traversing a high suspension bridge. I was asked to make sure I was wearing clothing that was compatible with being in a safety harness. So, no skirts or dresses and no tank tops. We are allowed to bring a small camera if we can attach it to a clip on the safety harness. No other loose personal items are allowed. There are lockers provided.

I don't know anything other than that. However, if you direct a question to my personal Moms Panel question box (do this through the "Meet the Moms" link from the Moms Panel home page), I'll be sure to answer it as soon as I'm done with the tour. I'll be able to give you all the details about what takes place.

Wish me luck on that bridge thing. Yikes!
