My family is doing WDW in June and we have the nemo suite booked (which is not included in the special) and now with the special going on the animal kingdom villa has came down to our price range. What would the benefits of both hotels be?

    Hi Christi!

That is a tough choice to make! Both resorts are beautiful and have a lot to offer. Let’s see if I can help you decide which will be a better fit for your family.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is a Value resort, and offers both standard rooms and Family Suites. Family Suites sleep up to 6 plus a child under 3, and include a separate master bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. There are several large and beautifully themed pools at the resort and a food court is available for your dining needs. Rooms open to outdoor hallways, and the bus stops, lobby and dining are located in a building separate from the rooms.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas at both Jambo House and Kidani Village are Deluxe Villas. If you were looking at a Deluxe Studio, it would offer a kitchenette, a single bathroom, and it sleeps up to a maximum of 4 Guests plus a child under 3. There is not a separate master bedroom in a Deluxe Studio.

If you were considering a 1 Bedroom Villa, it sleeps up to 5 plus a child under 3. There would be a separate master suite complete with a whirlpool tub, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. In Kidani Village,1 Bedroom Villas also offer a second bathroom. Since Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort is a Deluxe Resort, you will find both quick-service dining as well as table service restaurants and room service. Pools at both buildings offer waterslides, zero entry areas and hot tubs. Both Jambo House and Kidani Village are single building resorts, with the lobby located on the main floor of each building, and rooms that open to the interior hallways of each building.

I hope you find this information helpful for your planning. I am sure, no matter which resort you choose, you are going to have a magical family vacation. Come back and visit us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions we can help you with!

    Have a magical day!
