My family and I are doing a split stay. Does Disney offer a service that will transport my luggage from one hotel to the next while we are at the parks for the day?

Howdy, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney. I LOVE a split stay, so I hope yours gives you the best of both worlds. Since you're arriving lickety-split, let's jump in and talk about how your luggage can magically appear at your second resort. Poof!

Bell Services makes moving from one Disney Resort Hotel to another convenient and easy. Once you've packed up your bags at your first resort, stop by Bell Services near your resort entrance to drop of your bags. The friendly (and strong!) Cast Members will take excellent care of them, and they'll give you a claim check to hang onto. Now you can head to the theme parks unencumbered!

My tip is to snap a photo of that claim check because you'll need the number when you're ready for your luggage to be delivered. I may or may not have misplaced mine during the excitement of a park day, so consider this a lesson I learned the hard way!

If you've completed online check-in for your second resort stay, you'll get a notification when your new room is ready. Once you've arrived at your room, use the landline to call Bell Services for your luggage. You'll need to be there when they arrive, and I always tip them for their Herculean effort!

I don't know if you like to post online about your Disney visits, but before your luggage is delivered is the perfect time to get some uncluttered photos and videos of your room! And don't forget to show all that amazing under-bed storage space; that's one of my favorite tips to share.

Amanda, I hope you have TWICE the fun on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please stop by planDisney again!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
