Ahoy Rebecca!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that you cruised back with another great question!
I love how easy Disney Cruise Line makes recognizing great service onboard by offering
prepaid gratuities to your Stateroom Host and
rotational dining team. Prepaid gratuities include a suggested, per guest rate for the length of your cruise to recognize the staff that you encounter everyday including your Stateroom Host, Dining Room Server, Assistant Server and Head Server. To prepay prior to your cruise, you can
contact Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent at least three days in advance of your sailing to do so.
If you do not prepay your gratuities, they will be automatically charged to your stateroom folio prior to the end of your cruise. Gratuities are always at your discretion, so if you choose you may change the amount of gratuity paid to this team by visiting the
Guest Services Desk (Deck 3, Midship) before the end of your cruise.
Some services used onboard will automatically include gratuity when it is charged to your stateroom. For example,
Senses Spa and Salon automatically applies an 18% gratuity to all services and a 15% gratuity is automatically applied for bar and beverage services.
Room service and cast members at
Palo and
Remy are not included in prepaid gratuities and are at your discretion.
Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you have as you plan your high seas adventure for next winter!
Bon voyage! Angie
