Hi there! My family and I are going to Disneyland soon as we each have a magic band plus. So we each need our own Disney experience account or since I have all the tickets in mine can I link them all through my account. How do I do it ?

Hiya, Aimee! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.

Since it sounds like you handle allllll the planning in your household, you've got a friend in us at the panel! I've got a husband, five kids, and multiple family/friends (I should throw in the dog for good measure since he thinks he's human!) connected in my Disney account, so I sympathize with being the center of all planning things.

I'm glad everyone has a MagicBand+; it will make navigating the parks so much easier. From park entrance to keeping track of your magical photos, paying for lunch, and skipping the queue with Lightning Lane, it makes the day so simple to have everything you need on your wrist. Let's walk through how to make sure that they're linked to the right person and all in your account.
       - Log in to your My Disney account or open your Disneyland mobile app.
       - Make sure everyone knows which band they want (let me tell you the "discussions" that happened in my house when someone picked the wrong color!) and that the bands are fully charged.
       - Tap the MagicBand+ to the back of your smartphone, and it will open up the app.
       - Link the MagicBand+ to your Disney account.
       - Once it's linked, assign it to the family member's ticket and you're done!

If people want their own account, they can create one, but once you've linked their tickets/bands to your account, you can manage your family's park days. When you are making park reservations or picking Lightning Lane selections, you'll be able to select everyone who is joining you. As a family, we've been going to the parks for over a decade, and my husband has yet to download the app on his phone!

Aimee, you know where to find us if you have any other questions. I wish you a stress-free vacation!
