Hello, my family and I are going to Disneyland for NYE. We a little confused as to if we can leave the park and come back if we have a reservation? We know that day at the park will be busy and will be upset if we miss anything if we plan to take a break.

Hi there, Gabriella! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks a bunch for stopping by with your question!

I'm so, so excited to hear that you'll be spending New Year's Eve at the Happiest Place on Earth! I may be biased, but I don't think there's any better way to celebrate the beginning of a new year. I just know that you and your family are going to have the best time partying it up with Mickey and friends!

Gabriella, I'm happy to report that you're more than welcome to leave the Theme Park that you hold a reservation for and come back whenever you're ready. If you have a reservation for New Year's Eve at Disneyland Park, for example, you'll be able to leave in the afternoon for a quick nap at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and then return in the evening. However, this is not always the case for tickets including the Park Hopper Option.

If you hold a reservation for New Year's Eve at Disney California Adventure Park but you'd like to head to Disneyland Park after your midday break, this could get tricky! Park Hoppers depend on availability, and the Theme Parks tend to reach capacity very quickly during the Holidays. But do not fret! If this is not your particular case, you have nothing to worry about.

I hope this helps, Gabriella! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us so we can assist you again. Have a wonderful week!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
