    Will my old magic band from WDW (2019) work at Disneyland? It is our first time going to Disneyland! TIA

    Hey, Sunil! Welcome to planDisney.

    I'm so excited that you can visit Disneyland Resort for the first time in forever. Disneyland Park is such a charming place. It really is "Walt's Park" and his fingerprints can be found all over it. The Disneyland version of Pirates of the Caribbean is vastly superior to the Walt Disney World Resort version (in my opinion). Here's a fun challenge: See if you can find the hidden Mickey's. You can even eat within the attraction at Blue Bayou Restaurant. If you can secure a reservation, try the delicious Monte Cristo Sandwich. Mmmmmm... Now I'm all rumbly in my tumbly. 

    Unfortunately, only MagicBand+ works at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. The old versions of MagicBand from 2019 only work at Walt Disney World Resort. However, maybe this is a convenient excuse to upgrade to MagicBand+. Not only can you use this device in both parks, but you'll also be able to enjoy some of the new features, such as haptic vibrations and colorful lights. You can even test your skills as a bounty hunter by playing Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters.
