We are a family of 7. When we will be At Disney the youngest will be 2.5. Is there any value resorts that we can stay at and still be in 1 room? The ages of the kids are 8-2.5 years when we will travel, so 2 rooms are not doable.

    Hey Jesse! Welcome to planDisney!

You and your family are set to have such an incredible time when you visit Walt Disney World Resort!  I have three kids and have taken each of them at right around 2.5 years old. It really is so magical for them, and you don't have to pay for their ticket yet because they're under age 3!

While my family is a little bit smaller than yours, we too have opted to look for suites or connecting rooms which allow us to spread out and be more comfortable.  Thankfully, Disney has thought of everything and has some perfect options that seem to be tailored to a family just like yours!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a masterpiece of a hotel, ready to immerse you right into the stories you and your children know and love.  With themed areas from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Cars and Finding Nemo, you're sure to find the space and scenery you need to make this vacation the best one ever.  Disney's Art of Animation Resort could be perfect for your family because of its Family Suites.  These suites sleep up to six adults and have room for a complimentary crib for your little one.  With a queen-sized bed, a double-sized bed and a double-sized sleeper sofa, it will feel like home, where you can all be together but also have a bit of separation for sleeping.

Another option to look into could be The Cabin's at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  Here, you'll have all the comforts of home with a living room, bedroom and even a kitchen.  Plus, the kids will be able to run around outside while the parents sit and relax in rocking chairs on the private patio!  This accommodation also sleeps six adults, and you'll be able to see the configuration of the beds in the video below.

Many Deluxe Resorts that are part of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels also have Disney Deluxe Villas. With living, dining and bedroom areas they are perfect for larger families.  You can even choose how many bedrooms you and your party think you will need. The largest accommodation sleeps up to 12!

I highly encourage you to watch the attached video, as it highlights many of the examples I've given you here.  Hopefully seeing the suites, rooms, cabins and villas for yourself will help you make the most informed decision for your trip.  Happy planning!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
