    My family is going to Disney world for thanksgiving. My daughter and I would like to do something special that doesn’t require park admission one evening. We have done a fireworks cruise and loved it but want to try something new. Any suggestions?

    Hi Kelly!

    Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   My mind is literally racing with fantastic ideas for a fun evening for you and your daughter without visiting a Theme Park.   I am happy to share some of my ideas with you in hopes that you find one that is practically perfect for your trip.

    My daughter and I recently rode Aerophile-The World Leader in Balloon Flight at Disney Springs.  You get to ascend 400 into the sky and view some amazing scenery throughout Walt Disney World.  In fact this balloon is the world's largest tethered balloon.  It's a pretty unique experience and one you would not forget.    Another option would be to enjoy a fancy meal together at California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort.   If you plan your meal during the fireworks they even pipe the music in and you have the best view of the show.   Even if you eat before fireworks begin you can save your receipt and return to the observation deck to enjoy the show.
