    Hi! My family will be at disney world starting March 3rd till the 7th. We my son will be 20 months old when we visit. I was wondering what other moms do with a young child waiting in lines. And is better to stop and nap, your let him nap in the stroller

    I will tell you that having three daughters, a Mom's gotta do what a Mom's gotta do to keep the kids happy!  You would be surprised what a meek and mild mannered mom such as myself has been willing to do to make sure my little ones weren't disturbing or disruptive to guests standing in line around them.  I am not ashamed to admit to singing aloud, dancing the chicken dance, and making funny noises and faces to keep my kids entertained.

    For the most part, I will say that my girls were pretty good in line.  In some lines, you will have television screens providing entertainment, but we've also used the lines as a place to open up some snacks, which can keep your little one quiet, and we have blown bubbles for the baby to play with in line.  I've also always carried small story books and toys with me to pull out if someone gets antsy.

    As for napping, this is going to be a personal choice.  My girls were all really good nappers in their strollers, so we were able to stay at the theme parks while the babies slept.  I never felt a need to leave the parks, although I did always have clip on fans attached to the strollers for the baby's comfort.  If your son is not a good stroller napper, it might be better for everyone if you head back to your resort to let him rest.  Cranky babies are no fun after a long day in the theme park, and you know when they get over tired, it can be harder to get them to sleep when you are trying to get your rest also.
