Hello, my family and I will be at Disney World November 9-16th and I was wondering if the storytellers would be out at Epcot yet? Thanks!

Hello, Bethany! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

With the opening of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays quickly approaching, I, too, am looking forward to getting into the Holiday spirit. As one of my favorite parts of the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, this Festival is a treat my family and I look forward to each year.

Although the Holiday Magic will be in full swing during your mid-November Walt Disney World Resort vacation at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, I’m afraid you’ll miss out on the festivities at Epcot as this year’s Epcot International Festival of the Holidays will run from Nov. 29-Dec. 30. The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will still be taking place during your visit, though, and that’s always a fun event, too. My family and I especially enjoyed this year’s “Earth Eats” booth, and my daughter had a blast with Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt.

Although the international Holiday storytellers won’t be around during your visit, I do hope you’ll take the time to enjoy some of the new holiday offerings at Walt Disney World Resort this year, including Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park’s celebration of winter which will include stylized, life-sized animal puppets and rooftop luminaries in animal shapes and bird lanterns throughout Discovery Island. There will also be a new holiday “awakening” for the Tree of Life, too!

Over at Magic Kingdom Park, you can also enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, taking place on select nights beginning Nov. 8 and continuing through Dec. 22. This is another family favorite for my household, and this year’s will prove to be even more spectacular with an all-new fireworks show as well as the return of Holiday favorites like Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show.

You’ll also find Christmas decor at Disney Springs once the Christmas Tree Trail and other Holiday favorites return beginning Nov. 8.

Enjoy your early Holiday visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Bethany! Let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer or tips we can provide to make your visit even more magical.
