    My family is going to Disney World early June 2015. My 8 year old daughter really wants to meet Maleficent. I have tried to find out where she will be but have had no luck. Do you know where we can find her?

    Hi Megan!

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel again, and congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World this summer. Maleficent is someone I have wanted to meet for many years as well. Unfortunately, Maleficent limits her time mingling with Guests. While there have been character greetings with Maleficent in the past, specifically during special events, I have not heard of any summer meetings. I would suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements.

    You can see Maleficent at Magic Kingdom Park in the 20-minute "Dream Along With Mickey" show. Last spring, Maleficent joined the new "Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade" at the Magic Kingdom, in the form of an enormous, Steampunk-inspired dragon. The Maleficent dragon float looks incredible! The original larger-than-life Maleficent dragon can also still be seen in "Fantasmic!" at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
