Ahoy Angela!
A holiday sailing on the Disney Wonder sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate the season! I'm sure your family is looking forward to creating some very special memories this year onboard Disney Cruise Line!
I have a couple of suggestions that might work for your crew. First, be sure to continue to check the Port Adventures offerings online at
www.disneycruise.com because there may be cancellations up to three days before your sailing. Also, be sure to check with the Port Adventure Desk onboard to double check that they don't have any last minute openings for a beach adventure. Sometimes tour companies have cancellations from other groups and will open up a new tour. If you don't have any luck with my first two suggestions, you can visit the St. Maarten beaches on your own either by walking or via taxi. Great Bay Beach is within walking distance from the pier and offers not only beach front views for sunbathing and swimming, but you will also find good eats and shops there as well. Orient Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island and is about a 20 minute taxi ride away.
I hope my suggestions help, Angela! As I mentioned before, the Port Adventures Desk on Deck Three is worth a visit for sure!
Best wishes for a magical holiday voyage!
