    My family and I will be going to Disney next week. I have been looking to buy us MagicBands, we just want the solid colors, but I do not see those available when I try to purchase them. Could you help me purchase the solid color MagicBand?

    Hey there, Jessica!  Welcome to planDisney.

    MagicBands are my favorite vacation accessory!  I have collected an embarrassing amount in various colors and patterns.  I like to bring a selection with me on my Walt Disney World Resort vacations to coordinate with my outfit, or just choose the color or pattern that suits my mood that day.  You didn't mention if you are trying to purchase MagicBands associated with a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, or if you are trying to purchase retail MagicBands, so I'll be happy to give you some information about both options.

    Guests with a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel are eligible to purchase discounted MagicBands through their My Disney Experience account.  To select and customize MagicBands, log in to your account and go to "My MagicBands and Cards".  If you have linked your Disney Resort hotel stay to your account, you should see the option to customize your MagicBands.  MagicBands ordered at least 11 days prior to your arrival date will be shipped to the address on file; bands ordered between 6 and 10 days prior to arrival will be waiting for you at your Disney Resort Hotel's front desk.  Available inventory changes all the time, so keep checking for the color or style you need.  I did notice that as of this writing, there were a few solid-colored MagicBands available.

    Retail MagicBands are available to order online through shopDisney, and are also sold in many merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  Colors and styles available at retail shops and on shopDisney can vary from the selections available for Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests.  Since I don't think you would have enough time to receive an order from shopDisney prior to your trip next week, I would recommend browsing some shops upon arrival.  I did notice several solid-colored bands available for purchase during my recent trip.  Disney's Pin Traders at Disney Springs had a good selection.

    If you are unable to purchase MagicBands in a style you like, consider using Disney MagicMobile service instead.  You'll be able to create a digital pass for each person in your account and save it to your phone's digital wallet.  A Disney MagicMobile pass will have much of the same functionality as a MagicBand.
