Hi! My family and I will be at Disney in June and I scheduled a Character dinner at 8:30am and another at 9:00am. I was hoping to miss "the crowd", Can you tell me if these are popular times, or will we get a head start?

I am assuming that you are talking about a character breakfast in the parks, and you are trying to beat the crowds in the parks.  Apologies if I mis-interpreted your question.  Anyway, here goes...

In June the Theme Parks open at 9am.  I consider the first two hours (9-11) as the best hours to try to visit the attractions, since that is the time when the crowds tend to be lighter.

If I want to go to a breakfast, I personally try to either eat as close to 8:00am as possible, or try to get the last breakfast time slot (somewhere around 10:30 or 11:00).

8:30am isn't too bad, since you will be allowed to enter the park earlier, which is a fun experience.  You may also be able to try to show up at the restaurant early and hope they seat you earlier than 8:30 (no guarantees that this will work, but it often does).

Personally, I would not do a 9:00am breakfast in the parks, since that would mean I would be eating breakfast while the crowds are building up in the parks, and when we finish the lines for the most popular attractions will already be significant.  If you can, you might want to try to find an earlier or later time than 9:00, or consider a lunch or dinner reservation.

    Hope that helps.  ºoº
