my family will be at disney in June. we have the dinning plan and was wondering if i would really need to try and plan out when we will be eat so far in advance?

    Dear Kim,

Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your Disney Dining Plan question.

It can be challenging to know how to plan out your meals in advance of your trip, and many people choose not to plan each and every meal for sure. I am assuming from your question that you have the regular Disney Dining Plan that allows you one Table-Service credit, one Quick-Service credit, and two snack credits per night of your stay?

If so, it might be nice to think about making just your Table-Service reservations at least this early in the process. There are certainly Table-Service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort that can accommodate your family as a walk-in, but for the best selection of restaurants, an Advanced Dining Reservation might be the key!

Quick-Service restaurants and snacks do not have to be pre-planned at all, with only a few exceptions such as Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom

Moms Panel tip - Check the cancellation policies for your chosen restaurant in case your plans change.

    Have a magical time!
