My family is going to disney 11/29/09-12/05/09. I'm a little nervous about how to pack for that time of year. How warm does it actually stay the beginning of Dec.? What would you recommend - any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi, Kimberly!  My best recommendation for packing for a trip that time of year is layers.  You might find it warming up to the high 70s or low 80s even in early December, but I have lived in Orlando in years past and at that time of year, I've seen the temperatures stay in the upper 50s and low 60s.

At the very least, you will likely need a jacket or sweat shirt for the early mornings and evenings, so if I were you, I'd plan to have a full sweat suit that you can easily pull on over shorts and a t-shirt, and when the sun heats up the day, you can just strip them off and throw them in a backpack or locker.  You don't have to worry as much about rain that time of year as you might other times of the year, but it never hurts to keep a waterproof layer handy.

Layering is the best way to be prepared for a day in December in Disney World.  It really can be fall-like, bordering on winter-like early in the day, and a beautiful late spring, early summer day by lunch time!

    Have a great trip!
