Hello Rodrigo!
Welcome to planDisney! Oh, Rodrigo, this is such an exciting time! Your trip is almost here and all of the final details are being sorted and outfits being planned. I love it!
It sounds like you have things under control. Once you purchase your tickets and link them to every Guest visiting the Parks with you, you are good to enter the Parks. Confirm that your purchased tickets are properly linked to each guest by looking at them under
"Tickets, Passes, and Memory Maker" under the My Disney Experience plans page. If you have not linked your tickets to the members of your party, now is the time to add them to your
Family & Friends List. If any members of your family are over the age of 13, they can make their account; if they are 18 and older, they can save payment information to their account. Everyone else can be given a "managed account" which can be managed by you for any young kids or those who don't want to create their account.
From there confirm that everyone has their MagicBands still linked to their accounts. Under
My MagicBands & Cards, you will see at the bottom all of the people who you manage. Everyone's bands should be linked to their name. I currently have more than 7 MagicBands and cards linked to me. Some are probably long lost so this is a good time to clean things up if you find cards or bands on there that don't make sense. Be careful that you don't make a mistake here as I have seen band reassigning go awry.
Now, once you confirm that everyone has a ticket and that they have MagicBands that exist and are linked you should be good to go! If you purchased
date-based tickets then you don't need to worry about
theme park reservations. You know you bought date-based tickets if, at the time of purchase, you had to pick a start date for your tickets and were given a date range to use them up. Most people these days buy the date-based tickets but I would double check if you didn't make those theme park reservations. With valid admission and a linked MagicBand, you all can now enter the Parks! Just tap into the entrance, place your finger on the machine, and step into the magic!
Just a heads up. There is a chance that the older versions of the MagicBand may die as they do tend to have batteries that fade out after many years. (The number of years before they die varies.) The new MagicBand+ bands allow for recharging so if you have these bands make sure to bring your charging wires. I like to set up a charging station in my Disney Resort room every night for my bands, my phones, and all the other gadgets we have accumulated. If your MagicBand+ dies it can still function to let you enter the Parks and Lightning Lane entrances but it won't vibrate or light up anymore. You can have more than one band associated with your account and change it up during the trip because once it's linked they all work. Don't you love functional accessories?
I hope you have a magical time!
Happy Planning!
